Using the compact interface is easy and gives you access to all features.
Selecting your favorite theme is quick and effortless: just click on its preview thumbnail in the themes panel. No boring effect name lists!
Each thumbnail is a key that can be activated and deactivated. There are options to help you select just what you want, like “Disconnect Selection” and “Reverse selection”.

Hot Keys for a hot selection
Hot key, few but important options!
In Itunes: if you activate the full screen, than you may not use “options panel" that’s why you can use the “hot key” of DiscoBrick. The DiscoBrick options panel includes one key to open the “Hot” key help guide.

License for every budget
DiscoBrick is available with two different licences:
- Private, for personal use
- Public, for use at parties and the other public performances.
Every license gives you the right to install Diiscobrick on one computer only - but you will also get a special discounted price when you buy more than one licence (for example the 3 licenses pack or 5 for the Public license).
Correct usage: Multithemes could not be hold responsible for the wrong use of DiscoBrick (both for projection or use). DiscoBrick has been projected to be used with iTunes and with music.

DB project:
This project has been worked out from a Plugin that is no longer available, Eyephedrine. The development of the current version and of the coming ones will just concern Multihtemes. The absolute ownership (both material and intellectual) of this software belongs completely to Multithemes. And, by the way...Multithemes produces tools and plugins for RapidWeaver too. Take a look!

Graphic Card with 32MB VRAM(*)
iSight and/or external firewire video grabber (DV and so on) for live video
(*)Please note that the live video function at medium or high capture rate is not recommended with a graphic card with less than 64MB of video RAM.

Your favorite picture:
“The Screen shot” key will give you the chance to save each single theme image onto your desktop. On your option board you will find the “Screenshot” key to create images as big as your Itunes window.
To create an image as big as your screen simply click the “S” key into “Full screen”.
Moreover you may chose the size of your image in JPG and PNG.

Your Music, Your Images:
Want to use your images as textures instead of the standard ones ? Just drag&drop them into DiB’s panel - DiscoBrick’s supports images of various sizes and will reduce it automatically if it’s too big.

Live Video support:
Disco Brick supports the insertion of videos and photos through Apple’s webcam interface, using Apple’s “iSight” camera in full resolution or any compatible DV video grabber.


All you have to do is to connect the device and close all the other applications that use it (e.g. Ichat, iMovie) before starting up iTunes.

Relax yourself

House Party

Running iTunes™ in full-screen mode usually means that you cannot change your visualizer options...not so with DiscoBrick, where you can use hotkeys. N (Next) and P (previous) keys allow you to visualize the themes independently from the current visualization setting.
The O (Oops) key allows you to open the DiscoBrick options panel quickly even if the visual effects are not active in iTunes-no need to dig into iTunes menus!
And with the S (Screeenshot) menu, you can get a screenshot (duh!) of your current visualization, the same size of your iTunes window or your screen (if in full-screen mode).

iTunes basic control:

You can control the basic features of iTunes - selecting the previous and next song, pausing and resuming play.

Live Video Options:

High grab Rate: Live video in the theme: theme and video just in time.

Low grab Rate: Live video sequence: series of frames and themes that change at regular intervals. This is the recommended option! It allows you to save resources and achieve satisfying results.

Save your favorite style:
You are able to crate new "custom list" with all themes availables and then modify the groups. You may create many “favourite themes” collections and use them on many different occasions! The creations of groups is going to be easy and fast !
